I Love You, Mom

Yesterday, Sunday, May 13, was a very special day for special people. They're the ones who delivered you into this world. They're the ones who will love you forever. They're the reason behind every success. Being there for us, taking care for us and teaching us is their job. We're sometimes ungrateful to them when we don't get what we want.

Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there!

Moms always want what's best for us, especially my mom. She sacrifices a lot for us, from staying awake all night to take care of us to giving up the yummiest food for us to taste. I may not be the perfect daughter but I try my best. Okay, I'm hard-headed countless of times but I understand that she knows what's best.

For our awesome mom, she got a shopping spree at Resorts World Manila, Newport Mall yesterday from dad while we, me, my sister and bro (who gives only moral support to the card), got our mom a huge card.

While going through the mall around and around, we managed to drop by at the GameZoo's photo booth. The pictures below are a few shots taken.

Besides playing in the GameZoo, an arcade, we went to a lot of shops and shopped a lot. It wasn't only a treat for my mom but also for the rest of the family. I got a few things myself. :> We really had a fun and special day.

As for the title, why "I Love You, Mom"? It's true that I really love her. Although, being a teen, I don't say it that much. So, I'm using this chance to tell why we don't say it that much.

Honestly, I don't know why and I know a lot of other teens do too, but that doesn't change the fact that we love our moms. I guess, sometimes we feel it's a little awkward? Ask us why it's awkward and we'd answer "idk" because we really don't know. We just don't say it that much, that's it, but that doesn't change the way we feel.

Tagaytay Weekend, summer '09

Last weekend, May 30 - 31, we went to Tagaytay! We had lots of fun!

We started our trip on Saturday morning.  We stayed in a hotel called Potter’s Ridge.  It was nice there. We stayed in the family room on the 1^{st floor. When we got there we were tired because of the long trip. Mom and dad left us in the hotel for a while to go somewhere. We stayed in the hotel quite long because mom and dad were not home yet. It rained the whole day. After a while, mom arrived earlier than dad. We got bored at the hotel sometimes, so we took photos of us having fun.}

That evening, we went to eat dinner outside. We ate dinner at Carlos Pizza. Then we had dessert at Razon’s. We had halo-halo. Mmmmm... Sarap! Then we head back to our hotel, Potter’s Ridge.

When we got there, mom and dad went to the hotel’s restaurant. It was a wi-fi zone. Mom and dad had date there. 

We woke up early Sunday morning. We dressed ourselves to get ready for breakfast and the day’s activities. After breakfast we packed up our things to check out of our hotel.

After checking out, we went to People’s Park. First, we went horseback riding. We had lots of fun! Each rider has a guide. Usually the guide is an adult but there, it was kids. There were adults telling them what to do, it’s like training them.

After that, Vera and I rode a zipline!!!

I felt a little dizzy when we got off the ride.. It was VERY VERY VERY FUN! 

Then, it was time to head back to sunny Manila.

Summer...Summer...Summer...SUMMER'S HERE!

It's summer and it's really really really HOT!!!

My mom plans VGood to study in advance this summer because she's having a hard time concentrating on studying. I think it's a good idea but what'll I do? Hmmm..........

Well, my mom said I have to blog more so I could improve my grammar. :D

I want to read more books, if I get mom to buy me new ones. I've read all the books she bought me. Without a book, it's kinda boring if you don't have anything else to do....Haaaay....

I'm going to blog updates about my summer vacation. I'm not yet really sure what I'm going to do this summer but I'll be keeping you posted on what'll I be doing. :D

Christmas Is Near!

ONLY FOUR DAYS TO GO BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!! This Christmas, I will be spending it with lots and lots fun with my family. We should always be thankful in what God will be giving us this Christmas. Our blessings, we should treasure, share and enjoy them. We should be contented in what we will be receiving this Christmas.

I Love Our Game!

"I Love Our Game" means we won our game in badminton yesterday! (Dec. 5 2008)

(I wrote "Our" in "I Love Our Game" because our game was doubles.

Actually we didn't win our first game which was on Dec. 4 (Thursday). On our first game, we competed with 4 - Kabayanihan (a section in our grade 4 batch), which was the game we lost. There was ZERO percent chance that our class could win first or second place but there is a chance that we could win third.

Yesterday we had another game, we competed with 4 - Kalayaan (another section from our grade 4 batch). If we won we would be competing with 3 - Ezra (a section from our grade 3 batch). If we win again, we'd be third place.

(As I continue my story from paragraph 1). Yesterday, before the game versus 4 - Kalayaan, my heart was pumping very fast (and loud, I think).Oh yeah, not just my heart, something else happened. The representatives of 4 - Kalayaan is M. and Cat-Cat. (M. and I are not that close but we are good friends. Me and Cat-Cat are really good friends, while we were competing my heart was still pumping very fast and loud). It was a close fight, sometimes they'd lead in the scores but sometimes we are. At the end of the game I am so happy and relieved, (not so relieved) that we won our second game. I'm not fully relieved yet because we still had to compete with 3 - Ezra! *sighs*

When we were competing against grade 3 - Ezra, my heart was not pumping that fast anymore, maybe because we were competing against grade three (which they are younger than us). At the end of the game, that was the time i was fully relieved because...... WE WON!!!!

Picnic : La Mesa Ecopark

It has been months since I have blogged.

It was a bright Friday morning. We are going to have a picnic with my mom's blog friends and their kids. So we got on the car and started our trip to La Mesa Ecopark. But before we got there, we stopped by Grill Queen, to buy some grill fish. We waited for a long time. After some time were back on the road.

We're here! When we got there, we met a friend, a daughter of one of my mom's friends. Me, VGood, MagNate, and our new friend went to the slide and started playing.

After some time the others got to the picnic. Me and my sister met some new friends.



Then we went biking! (Mom didn't take any photo of us when we were biking). After biking, we ate.... it was so much fun!
After we ate, the mommies chatted, and us, the kids, played. :DWe had so much fun. We found a log, and made it into a rocket ship.

After some time we are going to climb up the stairs which leads to the dam.

That's really long.

When I got up, I was tired and sweating.

It's pretty windy up here.

And on our way down, we saw some benches and sat down and cool off for a while.

Then after that, the rain started pouring. We all rushed down, packed up our things, and stopped by at tita Wenchie's house. Then when the rain was already gone, we went home.

What a day!
We had fun, and I'm excited for the next picnic!

Kipper!! = )

Last week, Sunday, we went to Tiendesitas. We are going to buy a hamster cage. We had fun looking at the animals in Tiendesitas. We saw a turtle, it was beautiful.

After a few days, Kipper came!! We stared at him a long time. He is so cute! He ran on his wheel.

Kipper is so cute and adorable. I'm afraid to carry him, because his feet will tickle my hand. And I will know that I should get used to holding him. = )

My Birthday!

September 5 was my birthday, I'm now 10 years old. My birthday cake was honey cake, which is my favorite. I'm thanking my mom and dad for taking care of me so I could have more years to come. They have been taking good care of us. My mom blogged about me turning 10. I love my family so much!

How fast does time go. I felt yesterday I was just holding my bottle, now I'm 10. I thank God that He blessed me all those 10 happy years. He and my family helped me pass so many things. I am so happy to be 10. I love to enjoy life, especially family times.

My Sister

This is VGood, my 6-year old sister.

She forgives easily, just say sorry and she'll forgive you right away. Some times she gives us cards so that we know she loves us. These things are what I like about VGood:

I love my sister so much! Whenever she's in trouble I'll protect her, because I love her and she's my sister. No one can stop me from loving my sister. I'll take care of her.

My Cute Baby Brother

This is MagNate, my cute 1-year old brother. Every morning here in our village my brother goes out for a nice long walk. Everyone in the village who passes by says "Look at the baby so cute" or "Ang taba-taba. Ang Sarap kurotin!" and a lot more compliments.... MagNate has so many friends in the village because of his cute little face. My mom keeps on thinking when my brother is already a teenager, there might be a bunch of girls running after MagNate.

My brother is so cute! I can't stop looking at him when he is sleeping.He sleeps so cute!! I'm so lucky that he is my brother. I just can't wait to see him grow. When my baby brother is somewhere there are lots of people, they look at him. That is because he is so adorable. I can stare at my brother's picture all day long. When he's older I'd take good care of him until the end of my life.

   And he is the best!!

Subic Weekend

This is me ~iPatch~ blowing some bubbles. This photo was taken on July. We went to Zoobic Safari in Subic. We saw lots of tigers and other more kind of animals. The tiger I took was like posing just for me. And my mom said that I Take good pictures. And I do like taking pictures.

Here is my father with my baby brother touching one of the deers in Zoobic. My father keeps on touching lots of animals like camels, deers, alpacas and a whole lot more. We had lots of fun. When we got back to the hotel we were so tired of walking.

The next day we went to El Kabayo. Me and my sister loves to ride horses. This is me and my sister VGood on a horse. The name of the horse that we rode was Jesse Boy. We rode into the forest with lots of trees. After that fun ride we went back to the hotel. We packed our belongings, we were ready to go home.

This is ~iMoM~. She is my beloved mother who set up my blog. My mother was working on my blog last night. She was so sleepy but still she did it. My mom never quits and always tries her best. She teaches us good things that we wanna know about. She is a very good mom, she's caring, loving, tries her very best. Now I would like to thank her for setting up my blog.
